The State of Mining Today

You are invited to “THE STATE OF MINING TODAY” – an afternoon of discussion featuring conversations with Judith Marshall, author of “Tailings dam spills at Mount Polley and Mariana: Chronicles of Disasters Foretold” and Joan Kuyek, founding member of MiningWatch Canada and author of “Putting Mining in its Place”.

The AI Business and Human Rights/Indigenous Issues Team will have an information table and solidarity action for the Mount Polley community at the event.

WHAT: Lunch at 12:30 pm followed by solidarity action; presentations begin at 1:30 pm
