Mural Artist:
The Fine Arts Studio Program of The Centre for Creative Communications, Centennial College and Mural Routes
The Fine Arts Studio Program of The Centre for Creative Communications, Centennial College and Mural Routes are partnering to offer a two-week, hands-on mural painting course, led by well known mural artist John Hood.
This is one of four WallArt workshops required to become eligible for a Certificate in Mural Art, issued by Centennial College and Mural Routes. This is the only such accreditation for muralists in Canada.
The artists who offered their time and talent to this project are Walter Anastasi, Marlon Castro, Christian Carrizo, Hee Duk Choi, Will MacIntosh, Charles Wakefield, and John Hood (course instructor).

Mural Host:
Taylor Creek Park
Located in East York, Taylor Creek Park (near Woodbine and O’Connor) supports diverse wildlife and plants through its mature forests and marsh habitat. It is also partly a bird sanctuary. Toronto Parks & Recreation has provided multiple walls on one of the Park’s facilities for the Article 7 mural.
